ASM International Announces First Annual ASM Fellows Executive Summit
MATERIALS, Ohio (PRWEB) October 03, 2018 -- ASM International has announced its first annual ASM Fellows Executive Summit, an exclusive Fellow of ASM (FASM) and senior-level event and opportunity forum. The Summit will connect visionaries in the materials community in an interactive environment to project the future of the materials world. The event will take place from December 5-7, 2018, at the JW Marriott in Marco Island, FL and will provide a platform for distinguished materials science leaders to have meaningful discussions and develop tangible solutions to the biggest challenges facing the materials community. The goal of the ASM Fellows Executive Summit is to create a new culture of collaboration within ASM, and to enable leaders to embrace the trends that drive innovation, execution and, results.
The theme of the summit is “Contributions to Materials Science in the 21st Century: A Unique Perspective on the Impact from Government, Academia, and Industry.” The Summit will be voiced by Fellow FASMs and Distinguished Leaders in the Materials Community. Throughout the two days, world-renowned keynote presenters and expert panelists will consider the most significant contributions to materials science, applications, and technology in the last ten years and who will contribute the most in the next 10-20 years. Attendees will be provided with ample opportunity to network, get reacquainted with old colleagues and make new connections, in a relaxed environment.
The ASM Fellows Executive Summit is open to ASM International members only. Attendees will range from FASM’s to executives, and key ASM volunteer member contributors in the industry, academic, and government sectors. Summit attendees will have time to not only learn and collaborate, but also to relax and network with their colleagues. Additional activities will include a golf outing, networking BBQ, dolphin watch and boat tour, and a 5k beach fun run/walk. Attendees may also bring their spouse or a guest for a discounted price.
