ASM International launches a New, Improved Membership Benefit
A new member-only benefit has launched, offering an online community for networking and discussions between members.
MATERIALS PARK, Ohio, Jan. 15, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- ASM International launched a new and improved member-only benefit, ASM CONNECT. ASM CONNECT is a powerful resource for members to network with 20,000+ colleagues across a variety of material related industries, exchange knowledge, and share solutions.
ASM CONNECT automatically enrolls all ASM members into a private online community where they can participate based on discussion topics, network year-round with no geographical barriers, engage in knowledge sharing, post questions, discuss ideas and share experiences and thoughts. In addition to being able to chat with colleagues, members are able to participate in discussions with subject matter experts, access a library of resources specific to communities and post images, videos and documents to share with others.
ASM CONNECT is also a landing space where ASM Chapters and Affiliate societies can organize events and communicate to their members.
"We are excited to launch this new member benefit for our ASM members. I encourage you to search through and join communities of interest, explore the member directory and contribute to the discussions. I hope you enjoy this powerful new resource," said ASM International's Community Engagement Specialist, Carrie Hawk.
Access to ASM CONNECT is tied to ASM membership. Members can join communities, update individual profiles and manage the frequency of community notifications. Members can learn more and join the discussion by updating their profile at https://connect.asminternational.org/. Once you have logged into ASM CONNECT, look for the Quick Start Guide to get started. Not a member of ASM International? Join today at https://bit.ly/2NproqT
