Air Force Services Releases The Final Episodes Of The Artisan Air Series Highlighting Airmen, Guardians Now Streaming On AF Live App Only
SAN ANTONIO, Texas (PRWEB) July 07, 2023 -- The Air Force Services Center releases the final episodes of the highly anticipated Artisan Air series, now streaming on AF Live app only.
The new series showcases the creativity and depth of talent in both the Air Force and Space Force.
“The Air Force Services Center recognizes that people are its greatest asset, accordingly we are putting audiences behind the scenes of service members' lives and are engaging audiences with a new 30 episode series,” comments Richard Cooper, Strategic Marketing & Branding Specialist. “Our Over-The-Top (OTT) media channel, AF Live APP, will feature our Artisan Air series and showcases Airmen’s and Guardians' most coveted interests.”
The series releases five more 30-minute episodes highlighting a mix of talent ranging from visual artists, musicians, and poets. Five new episodes will be released every Thursday through June 29th.
The series was recorded from September through December 2022 in Austin, Texas.
In addition to the series release, AFSVC plans to release songs from the episodes to music streaming platforms, adding to the Air Force's extensive music catalog. At the end of the series release, the work of 13 musicians and a spoken word poet will be packaged in a digital album available on various streaming platforms on June 29.
“In part, this program is a tribute to all U.S. Airmen and Guardians who, at a moment’s notice are ready to risk all in defense of our great nation,” said Gary Lott, Chief Integrated Marketing and Branding. “Additionally, a special thanks to the Air Force Service Center for trusting us to execute new concepts that highlight our people on a more personalized level.”

About Episodes 26-28 Streaming on June 29, 2023
Set to debut on June 29, Artisan Air continues to roll out its programming on the AF Live app. The new series takes a look at five new airmen and guardians and their extraordinary talents outside of their military duty. Each episode tells the story of dedication to craft and service to the nation. The following episodes will roll out on June 29:

TSgt Nicholas Brown is a 31st Munitions Squadron based at Aviano Air Base, Italy. He is a photographer and active duty member of the US Air Force. His love for photography started in his childhood when he would sneak and grab a disposable camera from his mom and take photos of cracks in the ground and bugs in the grass. His love for shooting images extended into high school taking photos of friends and naturally extended into the Air Force, where he was assigned to also shoot the entire squadron doing their jobs and put them into print to showcase what everyone does. Joining the Air Force really kicked off his professional photography career. Being in the Air Force has afforded the unique opportunity for him to travel the world for landscape, street, and wildlife photography. In his episode, he breaks down his start, inspiration and creative process to shoot his stunning and timeless images.
SSgt Erasmus Hartsfield is based at Andrews AFB, and is an emerging artist and Air Force member, who finds solace and joy in music. From childhood church choirs to directing ensembles, his passion for singing runs deep. While serving as an aviator, Erasmus explored the world and encountered diverse cultures. A ten-year hiatus from singing led him to rediscover his love for music in 2017. Joining the Congressional Chorus, he collaborated on notable productions and received recognition, including DC Wammie Music Award nominations. In his episode, he discusses his inspiration, creative process, and love for performing and connecting with an audience. The episode also features a stellar performance showcasing Erasmus’s talent and passion for music and life. Erasmus's story reflects his belief in living life to the fullest, inspired by his late grandmother's wisdom.
2d LT Touacha Her is a 349 AMW based at Travis AFB. He is a director and filmmaker who skillfully conveys captivating stories through his work, effortlessly maneuvering the camera to illuminate these narratives with his profound understanding of light. In his episode, he delves into his cinematic influences, ranging from the likes of Will Smith to Christopher Nolan, while also sharing his exhilaration at unveiling his fantasy series, "Spirit Beside Me," in a movie theater for the very first time. With a background in the Air Force, Touacha has been exposed to diverse individuals from various walks of life. "Spirit Beside Me" serves as a portrayal of his heritage intertwined with his boundless imagination, presenting a fantasy series centered around the Hmog culture within a world teeming with spirits, warfare, and combat.
Along with the final three episodes out on June 29th, there are exciting bonus episodes titled “The Encores.” The bonus episodes feature additional musical performances from George Fresh Linen, Yahmil, JB Bell, and Aaron Evins.
