HERNDON, Va. (PRWEB) October 10, 2019 -- The Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC) in partnership with the Virginia Unmanned Systems Center at CIT today announced the launch of the Autonomous Technology Summit of Virginia that will take place on November 7, 2019 at the INOVA Center for Personalized Health in Fairfax, Virginia. The Summit will bring together leading experts across the commercial, defense, regulatory, and academic sectors as they discuss the opportunities, challenges, and impacts of autonomous technology across the domains of sea, air, land, and space. Along with keynote and panel discussions, the event will provide a unique platform to showcase Virginia’s leadership in autonomous systems and highlight best practices, new business models, and technology transfers that have a national impact.

McBride, Chief Operating Officer (COO), Iridium Inc.
Additionally, throughout the day, keynote addresses and panel discussions will feature globally recognized technology leaders from both the public and private sectors, covering topics such as innovative adoption of autonomous technology, implementation of unmanned aerial systems (UAS), unmanned underwater vehicle (UUV) innovation and investment, UAS applied to public safety and emergency management, and intellectual property and data securing challenges for sea, air, land, and space.
