Celebrate Halloween Weekend at Swinomish Casino & Lodge
Burlesque group The Lalas and '80s cover band Prom Date Mixtape will perform on October 29 and October 30, 2022, respectively.
ANACORTES, Wash., Sept. 16, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Swinomish Casino & Lodge has two major events coming to the Wa Walton Event Center this Halloween weekend.
Los Angeles-based burlesque group The Lalas will perform a Halloween-themed show on October 29 at 8pm. Then, on October 30, the casino will host Haunted Prom Night, featuring a performance from Prom Date Mixtape.
The Lalas are a group of talented professional dancers. These women have performed burlesque worldwide, including stops at Swinomish Casino & Lodge as recently as 2016. Their website describes their show as "equally hilarious and sexy" and "the best in burlesque."
"We're thrilled to welcome The Lalas back to Swinomish Casino & Lodge," Jumada Schwinden, Director of Marketing at Swinomish Casino & Lodge, said. "They always put on spectacular, unique performances, and we're confident this Halloween show will be no exception."
Prom Date Mixtape is a Seattle-based '80s cover band that performs hits from the likes of Billy Idol, The Cure, Madonna, and more. In 2019, the group was dubbed the "greatest '80s tribute band in the Pacific Northwest" by KOMO-TV's Seattle Refined. This event marks their first performance at Swinomish Casino & Lodge.
Schwinden said, "We cannot wait to introduce our guests to Prom Date Mixtape. They have a great reputation, and we're excited to see the '80s energy they bring to Haunted Prom Night."
The Lalas Burlesque Show runs 75 minutes, with tickets starting at $45. Tickets for Haunted Prom Night are $25. The event begins at 7pm and ends at 11pm.
Tickets for both events are available for purchase at SwinTickets.com or the Lodge front desk. Guests must be 18 years of age or older to purchase tickets and attend either event. More information about each event is available on Swinomish Casino & Lodge's website.
