The 2019 Seattle Hempfest took place August 16-18 at the iconic Myrtle Edwards Park, a long stretch of scenic downtown along Seattle's waterfront, marking the 28th annual celebration of all things cannabis. The show, attended by 100,000 people from around the globe, featured a pop-up carnival (DOPEland), political rallies, art and music, meet and greets with some of the industry's biggest names and a trade show.
Dabstract's 2019 winner, the Orange Zkittlez Live Resin, was made using a unique extraction process that produces High Terpene Extract (HTE). This specific product also utilized a special harvest technique that results in a product form called Live Resin.
The HTE is derived through proprietary extraction process that extracts a full and unparalleled terpene profile from the cannabis flower.
Live Resin is a harvest technique in which the cannabis flower is flash frozen minutes after harvest to maintain optimal terpene and cannabinoid preservation. The plant does not undergo a drying and curing process, which causes the cannabinoids and terpenes to degrade.
