Dallas Law Firm Selects First Winner of The Law Office of Jae Lee Immigrant Student Scholarship

DALLAS (PRWEB) July 19, 2023 -- The Law Office of Jae Lee is pleased to announce the first ever winner of its Immigrant Student Scholarship. The scholarship program was launched for the Fall Semester of 2023. University of South Florida student Kirsten Claire D. Calaguas has won $1,000 to put towards her educational expenses.

Kirstenn came to the United States from the Philippines after her parents, who came ahead of her, were able to save up the money needed to bring her over. She majors in Biomedical Sciences and plans to attend medical school to become a doctor. Her intelligence, grateful attitude, and her commitment to community service impressed the scholarship decision-makers. In addition to her studies, Kristenn has been heavily involved in volunteering. She has taken action to reduce hunger in her community and has recently begun volunteering at a healthcare-focused mission.

It developed the Immigrant Student Scholarship to help provide educational opportunities for first and second-generation Americans from low income families.
