Dr. Vito Iacoviello Named Deputy Editor of Infectious Diseases, Rheumatology and Immunology for DynaMed Plus®

Iacoviello, MD, FIDSA as the Deputy Editor of Infectious Diseases, Rheumatology and Immunology for the evidence-based clinical reference tool DynaMed Plus®. Dr. Iacoviello brings with him over 30 years of experience in medical education, as well as the practice of internal medicine and infectious diseases.
A graduate of Dartmouth Medical School, Dr. Iacoviello completed his Residency at New England Deaconess Hospital. He is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and the Chief of the Division of Infectious Diseases at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, Mass. He also serves on the Infection Control Committee and the Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee at Mount Auburn Hospital.
As a deputy editor, Dr. Iacoviello will oversee the integration of infectious diseases content for DynaMed Plus. He will supervise medical writers and editors along with external peer reviewers to ensure that physicians and healthcare professionals have access to the most current, relevant, evidence-based clinical information available. EBSCO Health maintains a rigorous editorial process that includes subject-specific experts reviewing topics using a proprietary, evidence-based methodology and quality assurance process.
