Seasoned tech executive, Ron Favali, to drive growth of Legal Services Platform
Expedite Legal, the on-demand platform that connects attorneys and paralegals with legal support services, announced it has named tech-industry veteran, Ron Favali, as president. The fast-growing startup also announced plans to expand nationally, with Los Angeles and Houston being the next two target markets.
Expedite addresses the inefficiencies in the $2.3 billion market for court reporting services. The inability to quickly find experienced and available court reporters, videographers and interpreters creates significant delays with court calendars. The Expedite platform removes these barriers by allowing legal teams to book the closest provider with the highest rating, often finding the right resources within seconds.
Launched in Tampa Bay in April of 2018, more than 800 attorneys, paralegals, and legal services providers are signed onto the platform in that market. In addition to Tampa Bay, Expedite will also be available in Los Angeles and Houston this February. Additional expansion targets planned for 2019 include Austin, Dallas/Fort Worth, San Diego, San Francisco, Sacramento, Charleston, Chicago, New York, Miami/Fort Lauderdale, Jacksonville, Tallahassee, and Orlando.
As part of the company’s growth and expansion, Expedite Legal has named Ron Favali as president. He will be responsible for expanding Expedite’s presence into key markets across the U.S., as well as securing additional investors to fuel rapid adoption of the platform.

Favali brings nearly two decades of technology industry experience to Expedite Legal. Prior to joining the company, he was a senior strategist at IBM where he played key roles in launching the company’s mobile business, including overseeing the marketing portfolio of assets for IBM’s partnership with Apple. He has also helped a range of investor-funded startups expand into new markets.
