Free People is Coming to Chestnut Hill Square
Philadelphia, PA (PRWEB) September 14, 2015 -- Lifestyle brand, Free People will bring its coveted assortment to Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts on September 25th, 2015, opening at Chestnut Hill Square. The 5,090 square foot location will be the brand’s 112th boutique and the sixth in the state. Joining sister brand Anthropologie, the brand’s distinctive product assortment will be the perfect addition to the new shopping development. In addition to stocking the signature bohemian styles Free People is known for, the boutique’s opening assortment will highlight dedicated ‘FP Collection’ shoe and ‘Intimately Free People’ shops.
The space has been designed to feel like the Free People girl’s workshop with a mix of rugged feminine elements and natural details throughout. Guests are welcomed by a custom steel storefront with steel and glass double entry doors featuring handmade hardware. In the transom, decorative metal laser cut panels have been installed, alongside a Free People cast backlit sign. Inside, the space is delineated with a varied ceiling that changes in height and material throughout, including dark hemlock beams and soft maple joists, with three skylights that flood the boutique with natural light. Glitter plaster and white bead board columns, as well as reclaimed plank wood floors, are found throughout the sales floor. Seven fitting rooms with beautiful shimmery coin curtains and lantern pendants in each stall help balance out the rustic elements. At checkout, yarn-filled cubbies light up the space behind with a bright array of color.
Free People’s Chestnut Hill Square boutique will open ready for the fall season. The sales floor will be well stocked with cozy sweater dressing options, alongside a strong jacket and outwear assortment. Skirts will have a moment, paired back to easy knits and feminine woven tops. A varied selection of flirty dress silhouettes and ready to wear slips, including shapeless styles, bodycon pieces, and rompers in lively floral and striped prints, will also live inside the space. An Indigo Shop will provide customers with head to toe indigo outfitting options through denim, chambray, and blue washes across all classes. Shoppers can look forward to a strong jeans assortment, including skinnies, flares, boyfriends, and one-pieces. A dedicated ‘FP Collection’ shoe shop will highlight a desirable selection of boots, including tall, ankle, and heeled styles, as well as flats, heels, and wedges. The location will also house the brand’s popular ‘Intimately Free People’ line of bras, undies, slips, seamless layering pieces, and loungewear. Accessory highlights include brimmed hats, skinny scarves, and leather bags and belts.
“We are excited to be opening our first large format Free People store in the Boston area," says Free People's Director of Retail, Beth Wehagen. “Our location in Chestnut Hill Square will offer customers a large selection of ‘FP Collection’ shoes and ‘Intimately Free People’ intimates, as well as an expanded offering of apparel and accessory styles!”
