GrantWorks’ continued growth leads to Florida expansion
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (PRWEB) April 06, 2023 -- GrantWorks, Inc., a recognized leader of state and federal grant administration and program management services, recently opened offices in Tallahassee and Kissimmee to support state and local governments throughout the Sunshine State.
In addition to GrantWorks’ corporate headquarters in Austin, Texas, seven additional Texas offices, and a New York City office serving the Northeast region, the two new Florida offices provide the firm additional facility and staffing capacity to deliver disaster recovery, economic development, broadband, and community investment services to its growing customer base in the state.
"Expansion into Florida was a logical move as we want to extend our purpose-driven services nationally into areas that have been adversely affected by the pandemic or natural disasters to build back stronger, more resilient communities," said Bruce J. Spitzengel, GrantWorks' president and founder.
Holly R. Miller, GrantWorks' vice president of Florida state and local government services, is headquartered in the Tallahassee office where she will continue advancing the company's government, economic, and community development initiatives and partnerships. Spitzengel said Miller is an exceptional advocate, liaising diplomatically with elected officials, community influencers, and organizational stakeholders to obtain optimal outcomes for the Florida communities that need the most support.
"Holly Miller is uniquely capable and strategically positioned to oversee our local government portfolio and we're excited about the business and partnership opportunities she’ll manage from our new Florida sites,” said Spitzengel. “Regarded as an expert attorney with diverse knowledge in areas of government, political affairs, and economic development, Holly is a true asset for GrantWorks.”
Miller has a wealth of experience in the areas of public policy, compliance, and community engagement. Having exclusively worked in the regulated industries of healthcare and energy, she brings a high level of tactical strategy to the company’s growth initiative.
Directly prior to joining GrantWorks, Miller was director of state government affairs and community investment at Tampa Electric and TECO Peoples Gas Systems. There, she focused on advocacy and lobbying the Florida legislative and executive branches, effectively shaping positive outcomes at a statewide level through both policy and corporate engagement.
"As a native Floridian, I'm proud to serve the Sunshine State by working for a company dedicated to advancing economic and community development," said Miller. "I look forward to building additional partnerships at the local level to foster thriving communities throughout the state."
Previously, Miller served as regional vice president of government healthcare solutions for Conduent, and assistant general counsel and director of regulatory affairs for the Florida Medical Association. Miller is licensed to practice law in Florida and Washington D.C. with a Juris Doctor from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Science in political science from Florida State University.
