JoAnn Kemist Recognized for Leadership in Healthcare by Pathways Hospice
Sunnyvale, California (PRWEB) November 05, 2014 -- Hospital and community leader, JoAnn Kemist was honored with the inaugural Pathways Award for Leadership in Healthcare at the home health and hospice agency’s 24th Annual One from the Heart Awards Breakfast held on October 9, 2014. Over 500 health industry professionals and community supporters of hospice care gathered to applaud Kemist for her leadership and donation of countless hours of volunteer service in support of Pathways.
Recently retired as President of the Sequoia Hospital Foundation and Vice President of Development and Community Relations, Kemist has been a member of all three Pathways Boards, serving as President of the Home Health & Hospice Board and Vice President of the Pathways Private Duty Board. Kemist was instrumental in assisting Pathways Home Health & Hospice as it expanded its care programs and geographic service area, while continuously improving quality, and the patient and family experience. Kemist generously shared her considerable knowledge about community health and supported Pathways’ mission of providing compassionate family-centered care to patients and their families when they need help the most.
