Brandon Hopkins Announces 3 Types of Link Building for Reputation Management Campaigns
Fresno, CA (PRWEB) January 28, 2014 -- Brandon Hopkins has been involved in the reputation management industry for seven years, and in that time he has experienced a great deal. One aspect of the industry that he constantly sees other companies struggle with is the use of link building. Known as one of the more difficult aspects of reputation management, Hopkins has been able to set himself apart from similar companies because of his successful link building skills.
According to Hopkins, there are three types of link building, each of which comes with varying degrees of success.
“The first type of link building is the untested method that you simply hope will work,” said Hopkins. “You may see these offerings in forums or from SEO companies, and while they do sometimes work, you must also make sure that you are regularly checking the rankings to ensure efficacy.”
Hopkins noted that this method is not ideal, and that the second method, if unaccompanied by testing, will ultimately be categorized in the same manner as the first method.
“The second type is what used to work,” said Hopkins. “A company may have been using this link building method because it was effective when they first began using it three to six months ago, but have not tested its effectiveness in the time since. If these companies are not testing on a regular basis, the results of their methodologies are essentially unknown.”
Hopkins then revealed the third type of link building, the type that has allowed him to separate himself from other companies because of its effectiveness.
“You have to use link building that is tested and known to work. I spend a large portion of my day testing,” said Hopkins. “This is a results-oriented business, and it does not matter to clients how many links you have built; it only matters how effective those links are. Testing for effectiveness is incredibly important.”
It seems somewhat surprising that more companies in the industry are not employing similar methods, as testing to ensure successful link building comes across as a relatively obvious step. Hopkins, of course, is known for prioritizing his clients at all costs.
“It is important that we do successful work for our clients,” said Hopkins. “An individual’s reputation is not something that should be taken lightly. If our work is ineffective, our clients may suffer from all sorts of negative consequences stemming from a negative and inaccurate online reputation. Steps must be taken to ensure that our clients benefit as much as possible from our work.”
