Cross Sale MVP: Mike Kahn, Houston, Human Resources: Mike boasts remarkable credentials in the field of HR, holding a lifetime certification as a Senior Professional in Human Resources from HRCI (HR Certification Institute) and a SHRM-SCP designation from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). With 22 years of experience in HR, and over 10 years in HR recruiting, Mike has won the Cross Sale MVP award from Lucas Group on four occasions and has been a top-five finalist every year since 2010.
Managing Partner of the Year: Myra Mendizabal, Los Angeles, Legal: Myra joined Lucas Group in 2014 and has become a dynamic leader for the Los Angeles legal branch that places attorneys throughout California. In her first year, and every year since, Myra has led her team to the company’s prestigious President’s Club Award, serving as a true testament to her acumen in an industry she has excelled in for more than 15 years.
Presidential Award: Bob Prather, General Manager, Accounting & Finance: Bob was given this remarkable honor by President & CEO Andi Jennings in recognition of his continued work leading the Accounting & Finance division. Now entering his 10th year with the company, Bob oversees more than 100 recruiters in the Accounting & Finance practice group, which specializes in both permanent and contract placements.
Recruiter of the Year: Lee Cohen, Irvine, Military Transition: Including this latest recognition, Lee has been named Recruiter of the Year 10 times during his career at Lucas Group. As an Executive Senior Partner for Military Transition for nearly 30 years, Lee has utilized his experience in the Navy and knowledge of Corporate America to assist military leaders in successful transitions into civilian careers.
Rookie of the Year: Lisa Rossi, New York, Human Resources: Lisa joined Lucas Group in 2017 as an Executive Search Consultant and was promoted twice in 14 months. Now operating as a Senior Partner, Lisa continues to work with leading employers throughout the Northeast to locate the best HR talent. Her background in HR technology, business development and resume writing put her in a strong position to succeed in her first year with the company.
Branch of the Year: Atlanta, Accounting & Finance: With their second consecutive win in this category, the Atlanta-based team has set the bar high.
