Meridian Honda ready to welcome the 2021 CR-V and 2021 HR-V to its showroom
Both Honda crossover SUVs carry over most features but will feature just enough new equipment to draw a buyer's interest.
MERIDIAN, Miss., Nov. 30, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Honda class of 2021 is starting to arrive at the Meridian Honda showroom. Customers waiting for the latest versions Honda CR-V and Honda HR-V won't have much longer to wait to see these platforms in person. For the upcoming model year, both Honda crossover SUV models are equipped much like previous versions but still have been updated just enough to intrigue customers. The 2021 Honda CR-V is available in four trim grades, LX, EX, EX-L and Touring. Meridian Honda customers will find the 2021 HR-V in four separate trim grades as well. Just as has been the case in previous model years, the 2021 Honda CR-V will deliver a convenient mix of performance and cargo volume to customers. The crossover SUV's two rows of seats will be able to accommodate five passengers who will be able to use more than 40 inches of legroom in the front and back. However, those sitting in the back seat might have less room to stretch their legs if the people in the front two seats are particularly tall. Additionally, all four 2021 CR-V trim grades can make up to 75.8 cubic-feet of cargo volume available when the rear seats are folded down.
Honda is still using the same powertrain for the 2021 CR-V that they've used for a while. A turbocharged 1.5-liter, four-cylinder engine attached to a continuously variable transmission under the hood. It will make 190 horsepower and 179 pound-feet of torque.
The 2021 Honda HR-V will be available in four versions when it goes on sale at Meridian Honda, LX, Sport, EX and EX-L. While the 2021 HR-V is smaller than the CR-V, customers won't be inconvenienced by a lack of interior space. When the rear seats are properly stowed, two-wheel-drive versions of the 2021 Honda HR-V will have up to 58.8 cubic-feet of cargo volume to offer and all-wheel-drive models will make 57.6 cubic-feet available.
Additionally, the Sport, EX and EX-L versions of the 2021 HR-V will be equipped with a 7-inch Display Audio infotainment system which will have access to both the Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ suites of applications.
