Nerd Street Gamers Partners with PlayVS For High School Esports Championships
Named 2020 Championship Broadcast Partner
PHILADELPHIA, Jan. 15, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Nerd Street Gamers, the national esports infrastructure company dedicated to powering competitive opportunities for gamers, today announced a partnership with PlayVS, the official high school esports platform. Under the agreement, Nerd Street Gamers has been named the 2020 Championship Broadcast Partner for the PlayVS High School Esports Championships. It will broadcast and stream PlayVS state high school championship matches on Twitch for Rocket League and League of Legends across 13 states throughout the months of January and early-February.
This deal marks the latest in several event partnerships for Nerd Street Gamers that includes providing tournament operators for the eMLS League Series One in Philadelphia, producing the Philadelphia Eagles Madden Club Championship, and providing the equipment, production, and logistics for the Vets Play tournament in collaboration with Comcast.

Nerd Street Gamers will produce recap videos of several regional championships, highlighting game winning plays, and the high school players behind them. In addition, Nerd Street Gamers will host the Colorado League of Legends high school championship at its Localhost Denver esports facility for the first time.
