Physicians Meet in Historic Charleston to Address Health Issues Problematic to the Southeastern United States
The goal of this symposium from the Carolinas-Georgia-Florida Chapter of ASH is to address health issues that are particularly problematic in the southeastern United States.

Lackland of Charleston, South Carolina, and Dr. Donald DiPette of Columbia, South Carolina, will incorporate adult learning methods including lecture presentations supported by learner discussions. Dr. Lackland is currently the Professor of Epidemiology at the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. DiPette is currently the Health Sciences Distinguished Professor at the University of South Carolina and the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Columbia, South Carolina.
The symposium lectures will focus on improving identification and management of hypertension and diabetes problematic to the southeastern United States. Drs.
