Rochester, New York Woman Wins National, Dream Car Sweepstakes
Denver, Colorado (PRWEB) May 10, 2023 -- Product Report Card, an online market research company providing consumer input to businesses across the country, has announced Cheryl Ehrne of Rochester, New York as the winner of their national Dream Car Sweepstakes. Ehrne’s submission was one of more than 5.7 million received by the Denver-based company over the last year.
A member of Product Report Card since 2014, Ehrne didn’t think much about the possibility of winning the sweepstakes after entering in last June when she completed a $5 shopping survey. In fact, she even bought a new car a few months after completing the survey. Rather than sell her already new car, Ehrne instead opted to receive a $50,000 cash prize – the approximate total minimum value of the vehicle prize.
“In some ways I did win the car as the $50,000 will go a long way to paying off my new vehicle,” says Ehrne, who owns her own pet sitting business. “I also plan on donating some of the money to local charities my husband [Frank] and I are involved with.”
Her good fortune was celebrated last month with a surprise gathering at the offices of Mason Marketing in the Rochester suburb of Penfield where, upon her arrival, Ehrne was greeted with an oversized check, balloons, cake, and champagne. Representing Product Report Card at the surprise event were General Counsel, Libby Perkins, and her mother, Barb McGrath, whose husband, David McGrath, is the CEO of the company. Making the trip from Denver to Rochester a little more special was the fact that both women were born in Rochester.
“With millions of entries, to have someone from Rochester, the place I grew up, win such a great prize was in some ways surreal,” says McGrath, who still has family in the area. “Rochester is such a wonderful community, and it was a special experience to return home and celebrate with Cheryl.”
“This is the second time we have run the Dream Car Sweepstakes, but the first time we have been able to celebrate our winner in-person,” notes Perkins, who explained that the first sweepstakes winner was announced during a peak time in the COVID-19 pandemic. “Everyone at Product Report Card couldn’t be happier to have Cheryl, who has been such a loyal panel member, win this sweepstakes.”
Ehrne’s good fortune is a reminder of the benefits of participating in consumer surveys and sweepstakes. It’s a testament to the power of feedback and the rewards that come with it.
