TORONTO, Nov. 11, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- SoftwareReviews, a division of world-class IT research and consulting firm Info-Tech Research Group, has published its 2020 Web Conferencing Emotional Footprint Awards, naming three vendors as champions. The following vendors are leaders according to the feedback provided by their end users via SoftwareReviews' comprehensive online survey. Vendors were rated on the relationship with their software partner, along with the value provided by the software to the customer organization:
Cisco Webex Meetings
GoToMeeting
Google Meet
What makes the SoftwareReviews Emotional Footprint different? Inclusion of aggregated emotional response ratings in the areas of service, negotiation, product impact, conflict resolution, and strategy and innovation. Together they create a powerful indicator of overall user feeling toward the vendor and its product from the software users' point of view. SoftwareReviews calls this insight the Net Emotional Footprint.
"Web conferencing software, central to facilitating enterprise communication, maintaining high levels of employee engagement in WFH environments, and communicating with remote customers, is a space where the emotional footprint report is highly relevant," said Emily Sugerman, research specialist at Info-Tech Research Group. "Users expect a UI that is intuitive and easy to use, and will expect more and more features to be commodity features instead of differentiators. As workplaces become increasingly virtualized, web conferencing software that is secure, reliable, and performance and productivity-enhancing is an essential part of the enterprise communication and collaboration toolset."
Cisco Webex Meetings, with a Net Emotional Footprint of +91, received top product for integrity, respectfulness, trustworthiness, and caring. GoToMeeting, with a Net Emotional Footprint of +90, exceeded expectations for efficiency, reliability, and continuous improvement. Google Meet, with a Net Emotional Footprint of +91, was recognized for generosity, easy negotiation, saving time, and a high degree of brand recognition.
In general, Web Conferencing software users were most satisfied with vendors' reliability – and were most dissatisfied with vendors overpromising.
About SoftwareReviews Emotional Footprint Awards and Software Reports:
SoftwareReviews Emotional Footprint Awards recognize outstanding vendors in the technology marketplace as evaluated by their users annually. Top vendors in a software category are eligible to receive Emotional Footprint Gold Medals, provided their net-promoter scores meet the threshold for sufficiently high user satisfaction across four areas of evaluation: vendor capabilities, product features, likeliness to recommend, and vendor experience.
