New York Wine Events Presents a Trio of Spring Wine Fests in New Jersey, Brooklyn, and Midtown Manhattan
New York, NY (PRWEB) March 29, 2016 -- New York Wine Events is pleased to announce three spring wine events scheduled for May 2016 in the Metro New York area. On Saturday, May 7, the 2nd Annual NYC Spring Wine Festival moves to a new venue, NYY Steak in Midtown Manhattan. On Friday, May 13, the 9th Annual New Jersey Spring Wine Festival returns to the Hilton Short Hills from 7-10pm. Finally, on Saturday, May 21, the 2nd Annual Brooklyn Crush Wine & Artisanal Food Festival: Spring Edition returns to Industry City’s Factory Floor in Sunset Park Brooklyn. The Brooklyn and NYC events, curated by Vintry Fine Wines, feature a choice of two tasting sessions: Afternoon: 2-5pm or Evening: 7-10pm.
The spring wine tastings will feature an expansive selection of wines -- 150 in New Jersey and New York City and 175 in Brooklyn -- along with light fare including hors d’oeurves, cheese and cracker selections, plus artisan food tables sampling charcuterie, baked goods, dipping oils and sauces, chocolates, and more. Guests can take home their complimentary tasting glass as a souvenir plus enjoy live jazz performances at each event. For the New Jersey fest, acclaimed jazz guitarist Matt Marshak and his band will take the stage. Musical guests will be announced shortly for the NYC and Brooklyn events.
Tasting tables located throughout each venue will feature an eclectic mix of lush reds, smooth, buttery, and dry whites, plus some sweet and sparkling selections. Varietals from old, new and emerging wine regions worldwide will be featured including Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, South America, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, the United States, and more.
A VIP Ticket option is available at the New Jersey and NYC festivals (limited to 50 people per session) which includes the main tasting plus admission to a private VIP wine tasting suite featuring 12 high-end wines, retailing on average from $75-$250+ per bottle, plus a premium selection of passed hors d'oeuvres. Wines will include superior offerings from Champagne, Bordeaux, Burgundy, Argentina, and California.
