TIDI Products Announces Acquisition of Zefon Catheter Securement Products
NEENAH, WI (PRWEB) June 03, 2014 -- TIDI Products, LLC, a leading manufacturer of clinically differentiated, single-use, infection-prevention products, today announced the acquisition of Zefon International’s line of catheter securement products.
The catheter securement product line, marketed under the GRIP-LOK® brand, is designed to tightly yet comfortably secure a variety of medical catheters in order to reduce catheter pulls, movement, or restarts. Product designs are simple, versatile, and suture-free; allow proper and customized positioning for each use; adhere to a wide variety of material compounds; comply with infusion nursing standards of practice; and can help reduce non-reimbursable hospital associated infections (HAIs), catheter-related bloodstream infections (CR-BSIs), and needle-stick injury incidences.

TIDI Products anticipates the catheter securement product line acquisition to be fully completed by October 2014. Ultimately, approximately 70 new SKUs of products will be manufactured at TIDI Products facilities. The American-made product manufacturer will offer the catheter securement products in the United States and internationally. The company will add approximately 20 employees in a variety of operational areas as a result of the acquisition.
