In this role, Brown will create and execute POI membership strategy, research, advisory practices, plus foster improved consumer goods manufacturers and retailer relationships. She will also be responsible for overseeing the global trade association’s thought leadership and best practices advisory services. Brown has served on the POI board since 2011.

Most recently, Brown worked as Director of IT Governance for Del Monte Foods where she led IT Governance and the Project Management Office. While at Del Monte Foods, she also served as the Director of Sales Operations and Director of Trade Promotion Management.

POI has also recently added the following consumer goods and retail experts to its Education Advisory Board: Lisa Malleus, Head of ecommerce Digital Solutions at Mondelēz International, and Lisa Henriksen, most recently serving as Senior Vice President of Marketing and Customer Engagement at Meijer. The new board members will be at the upcoming POI Fall 2018 Retail Execution Summit, September 26-28, 2018 in Morristown, New Jersey and The Collaborative Marketing Summit, November 7-9, 2018 in Dallas, Texas.
