STILLWATER, Minn., Dec. 13, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- December is a time when people focus on giving back to the community, and the Fury Motors dealership group is no exception. During the Jam the Ram event, community members are encouraged to join the dealership in collecting food and clothing items to support local families and individuals in need.
Until Jan. 2, all three Fury Motors locations are accepting donations for Neighbors Inc., a Dakota County non-profit that offers emergency assistance and supportive assistance for low-income community members. Cold-weather gear, like coats, hats, scarves, mittens and gloves are particularly encouraged, but any new or gently used clothing donation is welcome.
Non-perishable food donations are also accepted. Items in high demand include canned food (including tuna, meat and vegetables), pancake mix, syrup, canned pasta and other boxed food. The goal is to fill a 2019 Ram 1500 truck bed with donations for this good cause. Those interested in donating can bring them to any of the three Fury Motors locations. The dealerships are located at 12969 N. 60th St. in Oak Park Heights (Fury Motors Stillwater); 1000 Concord St. S. in St. Paul (Fury Motors South St. Paul); and 1144 Stillwater Blvd. In Lake Elmo (Fury Ram Truck Center).
Jam the Ram is just the latest community activity that the Fury Motors dealership group has organized. Fury Motors has also sponsored pancake breakfasts for local festivals, and the Stillwater location has an annual car show with the proceeds going to charity.
