After more than 20 years in senior management with FASTSIGNS International, Inc., including 4 years as its President, Mr. Lane opened a VR Business Brokers location in McKinney, TX in 2009. In 2015, his VR business relocated to Dallas, with an objective for growth.
While at FASTSIGNS, Larry lead the growth of the international sign and graphics franchise to more than 500 centers. During his tenure he held the senior positions of Director of Operations, Vice President of International Development, Vice President Franchise Development, Senior Vice President of Franchise Relations, and then President until his departure to assist entrepreneurs and join VR. Mr. Lane has direct experience dealing with private equity, as FASTSIGNS was purchased twice by two different PEG's during a ten year period.
Larry is a member of the International Business Brokers Association ("IBBA"), a board member of the Texas Association of Business Brokers ("TABB"), the Specialty Graphic Imaging Association ("SGIA") and the McKinney Chamber of Commerce.
As a VR owner Mr. Lane has continuously been awarded quarterly and annually as an owner and for office production. In 2021, in a year once again filled with challenges his leadership led to two of his business advisors ranking in the VR Top 10. Larry's commitment assisted the entire VR organization with his input as part of the Internet Development Team that culminated in the launch of new franchisee websites.
