St.LouisCIO recognized chief information officers in six key categories – Super Global, Global, Large Enterprise, Enterprise, Corporate, & Nonprofit/Public Sector. The Awards were presented at the St. Louis CIO ORBIE Awards at The Chase Park Plaza Royal Sonesta Hotel.

- Sabine Roduit, CIO & IS/IT Head of North America, Nestle Information Technology received the Super Global ORBIE for organizations over $15 billion annual revenue & multi-national operations.
- Christy Barker, VP & CIO, Olin Corporation received the Global ORBIE for organizations over $1 billion annual revenue & multi-national operations.
- Justin McFarland, EVP IT, McCarthy Holdings, Inc. received the Large Enterprise ORBIE for organizations over $5 billion annual revenue.
- Rick Hall, CIO North America, Royal Canin a Division of Mars Inc. received the Enterprise ORBIE for organizations over $1 billion annual revenue.
- Pete Hinden, CTO, Payments Optimization, Zelis received the Corporate ORBIE for organizations up to $1 billion annual revenue.
- Lori Sturgill, CIO, St. Francis Healthcare System received the Nonprofit/Public Sector ORBIE for nonprofit, healthcare, and education organizations.
The CIO of the Year ORBIE Awards is the premier technology executive recognition program in the United States. Since inception in 1998, over 500 CIO of the Year winners have received the prestigious ORBIE Award. The ORBIE honors chief information officers who have demonstrated excellence in technology leadership.
