Yahooty Who? Pilots New Animated Series
LOS ANGELES (PRWEB) July 13, 2018 -- Authors Jen Oloo, Ray Hodjat, and Mike Rodriguez have raised the bar again. This time, they have exceeded their Kickstarter goals over 300% to support their newest ambition – to pilot an animated Yahooty Who? series.
The original Yahooty Who? “participa-STORY,” which encourages participation between parents and children, has been such a success that it is a Kindle Unlimited All-Star, ranking in the top 5 of Kindle Unlimited books for three months in a row.
Yahooty’s mischievous cuteness has generated so many fans, Oloo, Hodjat, and Rodriguez will be releasing two more Yahooty Who? stories, focused on children’s social issues including bullying and trying your best.
“As parents we try to raise caring and thoughtful individuals to make our world a better place,” Oloo says, “We know that foundations for our kids resides in communication with parents, grandparents, and caregivers. We aim to provide a fun platform that sparks conversation with our kids.”
The main character was inspired by Oloo’s Grandpa Walt, who introduced his grandchildren to Yahooty, an imaginative helper who would play games with the kids. Though Grandpa Walt is now gone, Oloo is grateful that her own children – and children around the world – are still benefiting from the character Grandpa Walt created.
“So many new things are in the works,” says Oloo. “We have signed a distribution agreement for our audio book with Findayway.com. In addition, we are developing an augmented reality app for the existing book that will be available for free as an added bonus to anyone who has already purchased it.”
