'Be The Change' Partners With Thurgood Marshall College Fund For Second Virtual Job Fair

'Be The Change' is hosting a second virtual job fair in partnership with Thurgood Marshall College. Registration is now open to all employers.

Be the Change Job Fair, an initiative led by Cara Bertone, Philana Bouvier, Lia Jones and Rania Zayyat, in partnership with Diversity in Food & Beverage and Lift Collective announce today that registration for beverage alcohol employers is now open for the second virtual job fair on April 22, 2021. This year, the event will partner with the Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF), the nation’s largest organization exclusively representing the Black College Community, to further advance Be the Change’s initiative and digital job fair to their networks. Additional education partners include Wine & Spirits Education Trust (WSET) and JP Morgan. Bacardi USA, Tito’s Handmade Vodka are among several new spirit exhibitors (additional partners and exhibitors to be announced). Exhibitors can register here.

In December 2020, the first-of-its-kind virtual job fair connected over 700 job applicants with industry-leading companies such as Jackson Family Wines, Constellation Brands, Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits, E&J Gallo, Moet-Hennessy USA, and The Wine Group, using the cutting-edge technology of Brazen and ForceBrands' specialized beverage hiring division BevForce. Be the Change was founded on July 1, 2020 as the wine industry’s first digital job fair focused on Diversity and Inclusion. Following the tremendous success of the first event in December, Be the Change has expanded to include the spirits and beer industries. During the inaugural event, leading wine industry employers were able to network with hundreds of new job candidates.“Be the Change Job Fair is game changing.
