Independent songwriter Will Diehl has released a new album entitled "Days of Summer" as a follow up to his Spring 2020 effort "Set It Free". In May 2020, two songs, "Days of Summer" and "Wash Your Hands" were released as singles with accompanying YouTube videos (available at http://www.willdiehl.com). The album features the songs "One More Spin", "Days of Summer", "Wash Your Hands", "Soft Yellow Light", "Clouds", "Only Human", and "Say Their Name".

In recent years, Diehl, a prolific writer of songs, has continued to focus on penning and recording original songs that are released digitally. Diehl has also toured as a solo artist, and, with his former band opened up for such artists as Todd Rundgren and Greg Kihn. Diehl has also co-written a musical with director George Giglio that was produced by The Boston Children's Theatre, has provided music for a Hurricane Katrina related OXFAM video documentary (narrated by Danny Glover), and is an educational consultant for the documentary film "Arapaho Truths" (directed by George Giglio and info available at http://www.ArapahoTruths.com) which has won multiple film festival awards over the last year. Diehl's past musical releases have ranged from folk, rock, Americana, pop. New age, avant-garde, and instrumental.

Musically, the new album "Days of Summer" provides a mix of jazz, pop, folk, and psychedelic rock. Diehl notes that "These songs were all written in Spring 2020, and revealed themselves spontaneously in the studio, in dreams, and during reflections on long walks. I think that they speak to the present situations that we find ourselves in, and they reflect some thoughts on the human condition that I hope will challenge listeners to reflect upon with a sense of urgency, a call to action, and with hope."

Listeners can find Diehl’s music on all major music web sites such as Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music, and can subscribe to Will Diehl’s music web site at http://www.willdiehl.com where they will have complete access to stream and to download music.
