#GirlsClub Launches to Help Women Pursue Frontline Management and Sales Leadership Roles
Program established to get more high-performing women into digital sales leadership positions
PHOENIX, Nov. 6, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Research consistently shows that women are effective and high-performing sales leaders, yet still hold only a fraction of sales leadership positions. One recent report by CEB, now Gartner cited that companies list sourcing quality sales professionals as a top priority for 2018, yet only one in five sales leaders are women and only one in four midlevel sales roles are filled by females. To combat these numbers and rally more high-performing women into digital sales leadership positions, sales expert and Factor 8 CEO, Lauren Bailey launched #GirlsClub.
A nine-month intensive program that connects protegees with sales mentors and thought leaders, #GirlsClub was designed to help women gain the confidence and additional skills they need to reach for a sales leadership role. The program includes coursework, webinars, 1:1 mentoring, relationship-building with senior executive sales leaders and a certification as a digital sales manager.
#GirlsClub started working with its first set of protegees in September 2018, and to date nearly 80 women have raised their hands to be the next generation of digital sales leaders. The organization has brought on almost 150 mentors and thought leaders to help this next wave learn the skills they need to confidently rise up.
