‘Grammy Kids Series Heavenly Spuds’ Gets New Marketing Push
READING, Pa. (PRWEB) June 21, 2017 -- Martha E. Behm Goodwin was asked by her twin granddaughters to write a book for them. They wanted to be in that story with their dog “Spud” pet that had died. It prompted Goodwin to write “Grammy's Kids Series Heavenly Spuds” (published by Trafford Publishing in March of 2007), a touching tale that hopes to help children deal with the loss of a pet.
Twin sisters, Gabrielle and Danielle, are very sad to have lost their dear friend and companion, Spuds. They miss his face, his bark, playing with him in the warm sunshine; and most of all, they miss his warmth and unconditional love. The two sorrowful children wonder aloud if they will ever see him again.
To the astonishment and delight of the young girls, Spuds appears before them for one last afternoon in the sun. The old friends blissfully play, run and enjoy the company of each other one last time before Spuds has to return to his place of eternal rest, promising his young masters he will be with them always, watching over and protecting them.
This heartwarming story hopes to touch the hearts of older readers, who so fondly remember their long-passed childhood friends, while giving younger children hope of being with their friends forever on a spiritual level.

About the Author
Martha E. Behm Goodwin was born in the heart of the "hex country" where she still resides in the village of Stony Creek Mills in Reading. Of Pennsylvania and German descent, she is from a long line of backwoods settlers who seemed to have been given some measure of insight, perceptions, or other strange gifts related in some way to psychic phenomena. Now retired, for years, Goodwin was a secretary and receptionist. She is now a devoted mother and grandmother, insisting on spending considerable quality time with her grandchildren. At times, she is actively involved in a program designed to help the searching individual. In addition, she involves herself in several of the local community organizations. Goodwin is the author of a few short stories and poems, as well as a cookbook, “Martha's Kitchen.” She also is a reiki II practitioner and a psychometric reader.
