ANNANDALE, Va., Jan. 31, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Presidential candidates are known for making promises during campaigning. But how many of those promises are kept, once elected?
In "Report Card Obama-Biden Administration 2009-2017," by John E. Beaulieu, readers get a detailed examination of some of the campaign promises made by then-Senator Barack Obama and discover whether those promises were kept during his two terms as President of the United States.
"As I observed then-Senator Barack Obama make his initial efforts to become his party's nominee for the Presidency," Beaulieu said, "I heard innumerable campaign promises he made to American voters. Those promises and his eloquence in delivering them are what distinguished him from other candidates and ensured his victory – not once, but twice."
Beaulieu studied 600 randomly selected promises made during President Obama's initial electoral campaign and monitored whether they were fulfilled, as promised. He compiled the information and graded each promise on a pass/fail basis, resulting in a report card. His research reflects the exact wording of each promise, when and where it was made, cites applicable references, and provides the status of each promise, as it stood at the end of the Obama-Biden Administration's second term in office.
This book is Beaulieu's answer to his initial question: "Did the Obama-Biden Administration deliver on their campaign promises?"
