Feels like playing my classic SNES games all over again!

Just on October 1st, independent gaming company "Whimindie" released a Kickstarter for their game "Spellbearers". Spellbearers is an action-adventure game, where you play as the titular character, the Spellbearer, and travel through dungeon floors defeating enemies and gaining a variety of spells along the way. The game setup follows that of a top-down, 2D shooter, with graphics and design similar to those of old school SNES games such as "Super Smash TV and "The Legend Of Zelda".

Despite the unforeseen and uncontrollable circumstances that the world is currently going through, "Whimindie" continues to overcome the difficulties, and produce and release video games content, while still following the rules of social distancing.

"Whimindie" plans on reaching their campaign goal amount of $5000 on Kickstarter, and additional funds to bring the full vision of this blast-from-the-past SNES inspired PC game to reality. There are a number of rewards being offered including a Mini SNES box and cartridge memorabilia the campaign runs from October 1st to November 5th.
