This story follows a young girl named Penny who travels to Greece. She fulfills a dream of riding a donkey up to the ancient Temple of Athena. However, this dream come true takes a turn for the unexpected as Penny gets more than what she bargained for on this ride.
Maria the donkey is paired with Penny. The two form a bond that becomes a little rocky, but only one of the two knows the reasoning. Bumps, bruises, screams and close calls are all curricula in this learning experience.

The book reveals a peek into the mind of Maria the Donkey as her inner monologue speaks. Readers learn what she's thinking while Penny is riding her, and the reasoning for the aforementioned bumps and bruises.

Paula Andres has a distinct love of animals and great empathy for them. She has spent her entire life around them and has learned many lessons from and about them. She has a fascination with astrology and metaphysics which she turned into her first book, "Life's Clock, Chart Basics Defined: Planet, Signs, Houses."
