A-Line Partners Offers Retail Research to Private Equity Investors

Since 2014 A-Line Partners has been providing retail research to the institutional investment community with detailed, methodical research gathered directly at the store level. A-Line Partners engages a team of researchers across the country that visit publicly traded retailers in major malls daily. This information is then aggregated to give a ground up picture of what is happening at the retail level nationally and provided to institutional investors. Becoming a leading retail business and trend forecasting expert for investors wasn’t really part of the plan for A Line Partners founder and president, Gabriella Santaniello. But she knew she loved retail, especially high fashion. As a kid growing up in Los Angeles, she would save up her money every month to buy the Italian and French issues of Vogue Magazine at her neighborhood bookstore. As a young fashionista, Gabriella would flip through the glossy pages, unable to understand a word of either language, but completely enthralled by the photos of high-end couture and glamourous models. She wasn’t sure what role she’d play, but she was determined to become a part of that world when she grew up.

Gabriella’s spent her young adulthood learning as much as she possibly could about retail and fashion. She worked as an account manager focusing on distribution strategy for some of the world’s top brands including Ralph Lauren, Nautica and Mossimo. She also co-owned her own men’s denim line, managing sourcing, production and merchandising. She learned the ins and outs of retail and fashion, but It was her MBA studies and post grad employment providing valuable, consultative advice to Wall Street analysts that set the stage for her current position as founder and president of A Line Partners.

A-Line Partners also provides channel checking reports, IPO research and mall tours as well as custom special projects based on specific client needs.
