Pacific Office Automation enjoyed a prosperous year of growth in 2018, acquiring and opening new branches in Southern Idaho and Southern California.

With these acquisitions and expansions, POA adds five new branches to its existing list of West Coast locations and thus continues to grow its potential customer base.

This year, office equipment leader Pacific Office Automation acquired Yost, an office solutions provider with locations in Idaho Falls, Pocatello and Burley, Idaho; the rapidly-growing industry leader has also opened its doors in Boise, ID and Southern California. With these acquisitions and expansions, POA adds five new branches to its existing list of West Coast locations and thus continues to grow its potential customer base.

The acquired Yost locations place high priority on community involvement, like their existing POA counterparts across the West. The Idaho Falls office sponsors the Idaho Falls Chukars Minor League Baseball team and hosts an annual golf tournament. The team in Burley sponsors local rodeos that visit the town. All branches maintain an active presence in the community by participating as members of their local Chamber of Commerce.

Pacific Office Automation’s brand-new Southern California office signifies the entrance into a new market for the company. “This is really the last major market that we have left to penetrate on the West Coast,” said Branch Manager Eric Pitassi. “Southern California is our largest market opportunity, and we are excited to open up here.”

The branch looks to grow its team by recruiting for sales, service, warehouse and administrative roles. It also has plans to become an active presence in the greater Southern California community, something the company knows and does well in each of its other markets.
