A New App for Baseball Fans, Kaleidostat, Now Available
NEW YORK (PRWEB) May 29, 2018 -- Kaleidostat is an app for baseball fanatics looking for a unique game day experience. The app, which is now available for download in the App Store for iOS users, was developed for fans to collect memories, compile unique user experience statistics and connect with other like-minded baseball fans.
According to research, 61% of sports viewers engage with sports online by following their favorite teams and players, sharing updates about their experiences with the team, and statistics and news related to the game. Kaleidostat expands this existing user behavior by streamlining the activity into one app that also personalizes the data to each unique user.
“The idea behind Kaleidostat came to me after attending a Penn State vs. Maryland football game with a friend who told me that it was his 100th Penn State football game,” says Andrew Savko, president of Little Silver Partners, LLC and founder of Kaleidostat. “I thought it would be great to have an app that could track your attendance at various events or locations like sporting events, concerts, festivals, Broadway shows, or historic landmarks. Then people could track any number of events and the specific details from those events, and how those details are specifically related to you.”
By identifying the games that a user has watched or attended, Kaleidostat compiles unique user stats based on their relationship with their favorite team. Upon opening the app for the first time, users will be invited to select their favorite team and that’s when “Legacy” with that team begins. Users can then check the “Updates” panel for the latest team news, games schedule and results, as well as performance analysis. Users can also track new games or mark a passed game as watched or attended with the “Season Screens” tab.
The more games that are identified as viewed, the more user stats Kaleidostat builds, which further personalizes the app experience for the user. Also, the “Stats” tab displays personal user stats, total home runs, wins, losses, walks and more that the user specifically experienced based on games that they watched or attended. Finally, the “Mementos” screen is a section for users to create a keepsake based on their experience and share it with friends.
“With Kaleidostat, the excitement of the game never has to end,” continues Savko. “I know baseball fans that have collected every ticket stub from games that they have attended and can describe each specific game day. To these fans, the games are much more than an athletic event. It is a memory with their family or friends that they hold on to and share with other fans. With Kaleidostat, these baseball fans can relive each game with the simple swipe of their phone.”
Kaleidostat is now available for free in the Apple App Store for iOS users. This app was developed by Big Drop Inc. a full-service digital agency in New York, NY.
