AAP PreK-12 Learning Group presents CEO Roundtable for senior-level executives
Philadelphia, PA (PRWEB) October 30, 2013 -- The PreK-12 Learning Group of the Association of American Publishers opened registration for its annual CEO Roundtable which welcomes senior-level executives from across the industry. The day-long event is scheduled for December 9, 2013 and will take place at Scholastic Inc. in New York, NY.
This year’s Roundtable, titled Converging Worlds: Blending Culture and Strategy in the PreK-12 Market, will explore the rapidly changing dynamics of the education marketplace and outline the most effective approaches for meeting the needs of students, educators, and school districts. Sessions will address the challenges of blending different cultures, the pros and cons of various business models, and effective product development strategies. Leading experts will offer insights into how companies can best respond to demands for resources spanning multiple formats, including print, digital, and blended materials.
Peter Cohen, President of the McGraw-Hill School Education Group will give the keynote presentation. Prior to his current position, Mr. Cohen was chief executive of Pearson Education’s School Division where he was instrumental in guiding Pearson’s shift from print to digital resources, the expansion of school services, and the acquisition and development of direct instructional services through Connections Academy. Other speakers for the event include Margery Mayer from Scholastic Inc., Michael Johnson from Full Potential Associates, and Corrine Burton from Teacher Created Materials.
