Under the newly formed strategic partnership and based on the enthusiastic reception of the products at the conference, the two companies will work closely together to bring VLC-based solutions and ready-to-market Li-Fi products & Solutions to the UAE and the Middle East region in the areas of secure communication rooms, Data Center Secure Infrastructures, and Smart City communication infrastructures, among others.

(http://www.aasainc.com) along with its 01LightCom subsidiary and Dubai-based Cayenne Technologies FZE (http://www.cayenne-tech.com) are happy to announce that they have successfully presented several of the AASA’s Visible Light Communication (VLC) and Li-Fi products at the InterSec 2019 Exhibition held in Dubai between January 20-22.

The products that were presented are:

  • Li-Fi V2X Communication: demonstrating how smart cars can use headlights to communicate with other cars or the infrastructure.
  • Li-Fi Spotlight Advertisement: demonstrating how a spotlight used to illuminate a displayed product, or a specific area in the Exhibition Booth can be used to transmit marketing or location based advertisements to user’s phone using an optical camera.
  • Li-Fi Bi-directional Communication: for the first time, AASA will be presenting a Li-Fi-enabled light panel providing bi-directional communication through a Li-Fi USB adaptor with a throughput of 65Mbps.
