BALTIMORE, Sept. 26, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Abovo42 Corporation (d/b/a ABOVO.co) announced today that the US Patent Office approved and issued a patent that covers ABOVO.co's radically new "Social Email" consumer technologies. U.S. Patent No. 10,404,634 was officially issued on September 3, 2019 and covers "Methods for Publishing and Sharing Content on The Internet" via Email.
"This patent makes claims in connection with our technology that allows consumers to publish and share content on the Internet as simply as sending an Email," said Sean P. Fenlon, Founder & CEO of Abovo42 Corporation. "This is the first patent issued, but we expect additional patents to be issued in the future covering our adjacent technologies" he said.
Abovo42 Corporation is a portfolio company of Cambridge, MA-based incubator Cogo Labs and receives a significant amount of support services from Cogo Labs, and will continue to do so until "we're at a size and stage where we can do it all internally," according to Fenlon.
"We see tremendous opportunity in empowering the world's Internet users to become Internet publishers and participating in Internet communities by simply using their own email." states Dave Blundin, Chairman of Cogo Labs and Managing Partner of Link Ventures. "The issuing of this patent is a testament to the innovative work of the ABOVO team."
ABOVO.co is the first technology that allows Internet users to publish and share content online with no limitations – simply and easily. ABOVO.co does not require users to download an app, sign up, register a login, or learn anything new beyond what they do every day with their own Email. Users simply send an Email to [email protected] and the content in the email will be posted on a personalized feed at abovo.co/[UsersEmail@addressHere] where they can then share it anywhere.
