McCathern Law Firm case of rope injuries on school trip goes to trial on October 22nd in Austin, TX.

Case update for cause no. D-1-GN-16-002508: Sandy Roughly, individually and as next friend of minor K.P. v Live Oak Classical School and Lawrence L. Germer, currently pending in the 250th District Court in Travis County, Texas.

The widely publicized case of rope injuries to a 12-year-old girl’s neck that allegedly occurred while on a school sponsored camping trip will be heard by a Travis County jury next week. The jury will determine if Live Oak Classical School is at fault for the rope burns suffered by KP, a black student, allegedly at the hands of white classmates.
