Brenner takes readers on a walk through good times and not-so-good times with poems featuring his feelings on life, childhood, romance and more to provide encouragement and reflection.
With over 15 five-star reviews on Amazon, "Feelings" is already garnering positive feedback: "It's the kind of book you wish you could hug," "The poems are sensitive, caring, reflective," "The content of the poems are very relatable," and "My heart and soul felt many emotions while reading the amazing poetry."
"What a great title for your book of feelings. Feelings of self, relationships, family and those around you. You have a pleasant way of letting words create emotional pictures that allows the reader to identify with laughing, crying and contacting feelings. Thanks so much for sharing. As you write, 'A dream I can live with today'." – Review by Dr. Roy Berko
Brenner was inspired to publish his collection of poetry after already accomplishing two of his three life goals of being a syndicated cartoonist and playwright, and to complete his trifecta, now the author of his first book "Feelings" which provides readers with something fresh and new to escape in thought with.
"With every page turn, I want the reader to relive memories and experiences that have been tucked away and then look and laugh with my lovable cartoon character on the opposite page," said Brenner. "Cry softly, laugh loudly and enjoy."
