AccountingSuite Partners with Leading eFile Solution Provider During Busy Tax Season

The gig economy has exponentially increased the number of 1099s issued and for businesses to have to manually enter all that data into an eFile system is an archaic model. Together, we empower businesses to collect the info they need, verify sensitive data, and populate forms quickly.

AccountingSuite™ announced their integration with Tax1099, improving the eFile experience for businesses with contractors, just in time to meet the 1099-MISC deadline of March 31 for non-Box 7 amounts. The integration empowers users of both systems to seamlessly pull data from the AccountingSuite file into Tax1099 to eliminate manual entry.

Tax1099 is an IRS-approved, cloud-based eFiling platform for the 1099 MISC form and forty other forms. The platform eFiles forms directly with the IRS and files with the states based on each state's special filing requirements. If a customer chooses, Tax1099 will also send vendors or contractors their 1099 MISC copy via USPS or their email addresses if available.

"We are excited to integrate Tax1099 with AccountingSuite to offer their customers a streamlined channel to file forms to the IRS and states," says Sanjeev Singh, founder and CEO of Zenwork. "This integration will make it a lot easier for AccountingSuite users to pull data over to Tax1099 to eFile their 1099 MISC forms."

The new integration with AccountingSuite will allow users to log into their AccountingSuite accounts via the Tax1099 cloud platform and pull over payer, vendor, and payment data that is 1099 eligible. This will significantly cut down filing time as users will not have to manually enter 1099 information or deal with the pulling and formatting of various exports. AccountingSuite users can also use Tax1099 to send and collect digital W-9s as well as verify vendors' EINs or SSNs through the TIN matching function.

Ted McRae, Director of Business Development at AccountingSuite, expanded on the integration partnership stating, “The gig economy has exponentially increased the number of 1099s issued and for businesses to have to manually enter all that data into an eFile system is an archaic model. Together, we empower businesses to collect the info they need, verify sensitive data, and populate forms quickly while ensuring consistency between systems.”

AccountingSuite™ is an award-winning accounting software with built-in advanced inventory management solutions. The pure cloud application allows users to login anytime from any device and provides unlimited transactions as well as multiple users. The software is a popular alternative for CPAs and accountants because it adheres to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) unlike other popular accounting programs; lack of this backbone in an accounting system allows inexperienced users to make changes to the file after closing.
