ACDIS Announces Agenda for Annual Conference
The annual ACDIS conference is entering its lucky 13th year of providing networking and education for the clinical documentation integrity (CDI) profession. This year's event (May 5-8, 2020, Mirage Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas) features the profession's top thought leaders and experts in the field on core CDI disciplines and innovative efforts to expand CDI outcomes.
MIDDLETON, Mass., Jan. 22, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- ACDIS, the Association of Clinical Documentation Integrity Specialists, is excited to announce the final agenda of the 2020 annual conference. This year's conference takes place May 5-8 at the Mirage Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, with the option to attend three separate pre-conference events May 4-5.
This unique main conference designed for clinical documentation integrity (CDI) professionals features more than 60 sessions in six diverse tracks to meet the needs of a wide-variety of backgrounds and experiences—from those brand new to the profession to those who have returned with us every year for the past 13 events.
This year's theme "Engage!" focuses on all the ways that CDI staff can engage with, and for, their profession. With an expected 1,800 CDI professionals including directors, staff reviewers, and physician advisors, as well as sponsors, speakers, and staff in attendance, every minute of this three-day event represents an opportunity to network, learn, and grow. It also features innovative lightning rounds, panel discussions, and split sessions designed to provide increased sharing of individual experiences, on-the-ground challenges, and opportunities for growth.

This year's lineup of keynote speakers features Dr. Mitchell Levy, one of the three founding members of the Surviving Sepsis Campaign (SSC) and contributing author to both the Sepsis-2 and Sepsis-3 definitions. Additionally, general session speaker Mike Rayburn, a two-time TED Talk presenter will energize and entertain attendees and Noelle Pikus Pace offers tools to keep CDI professionals inspired to push past their personal boundaries.
