Southern California-based, American Council on Exercise (ACE) certified fitness trainer and health coach Lynn Montoya, today announces her free 20 minute workout sessions are available on Instagram Live, @LynnMontoyaFitness, to help people stay fit and committed to their health routines during the COVID-19 isolation period.
The live workout videos begin at 12 PM PST Monday through Friday and remain available on her Instagram for a few hours, for those unable to join at the live start time. The videos will also be posted on the Lynn Montoya Fitness YouTube channel 24 hours after airing. To provide a wide variety of workouts and training for at home, the videos will vary based on the day of the week and require little to no equipment.
Montoya’s workout schedule is below
HIIT Cardio (Monday and Wednesday): Workouts focused on high-intensity interval training, a cardiovascular exercise strategy alternating short periods of intense anaerobic exercise with less intense recovery periods.
BodySculpt (Tuesday): Strength workouts featuring sets of light dumbbells and/or body weight to help build and tone muscle.
Swing and Sweat (Thursday): Workouts including kettle bags or sandbags, designed to get your body moving and sweating.
Belly Buster (Friday): Focused on developing and toning abs and core muscles.
“Above and beyond the physical changes, my focus is to help women realize a whole new persona and to feel confident again in their own bodies,” says Montoya. “Just because we are all doing our part to socially distance and isolate, doesn’t mean we have to sacrifice our goals. This is a great time for self-improvement, plus exercise is a great way to clear the stress of the current situation.”
Montoya helps women from age 30 to 70+ with customized programs developed to push each client to their top potential. As a group fitness instructor, Lynn has supported thousands of people working to improve their health over the last decade. She is a recognized Health Coach, Group Fitness Instructor and Fitness Nutritionist by ACE, and a Certified Personal Trainer by the National Exercise and Sports Trainer Association (NESTA).
She also has specialty certifications in National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Integrated Flexibility Training, Hardstyle Kettlebells Instructor Training, TRX Group Suspension Training, Pilates and Yoga (PiYo) Strength Instructor Training, Level 1 Sandbell Instructor Training and Keiser Indoor Cycling Instructor Training.
