Acentia and AnyPresence Partner to Drive Federal Government Mobile Innovation

The U.S. government has chartered mobile innovators, like Acentia and AnyPresence, to help transform and modernize agencies through an effort called “Mobile Gov.” Public sector apps and mobile websites are developing exponentially. Data.gov reports 137 government mobile apps and over 400 Government Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) have been developed. Early apps provided new ways for agencies to engage citizens while providing higher levels of customer satisfaction, lowering call center costs, and leveraging government data stores.
More recently, the government has begun to focus on employee-facing apps to improve productivity, streamline workflows, and support telework. Agencies with early public-facing government apps and mobile websites include: U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Transportation Security Administration (TSA), the Department of Labor (DOL), and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA).
