Acer America is broadening its smartphone and wearable businesses by bringing the award-winning Liquid Jade Z and 4.5-inch Liquid Z410 smartphones and Liquid Leap+ fitness tracker to the Bahamas. The smartphones and fitness tracker offer a host of handy features for communicating via voice, text and data and are available through Bahamas Telecommunications Company (BTC) Ltd. outlets.

Liquid Jade Z l Beautiful in Form and Function
Acer’s Liquid Jade Z is powered by Android 4.4 4G LTE and provides 64-bit 1.5GHz quad-core processing for fast browsing, streaming and downloading. Thanks to a stylish curved design that’s just .31 inches slim and weighs only 3.8 ounces, it’s comfortable to hold and use with just one hand. Boasting an IPS panel, the 5-inch HD display is viewable from almost any angle and readable in most circumstances with Zero Air Gap technology, which decreases reflections. It’s protected under a beautiful, yet strong Corning® Gorilla® Glass 3 panel and features a special read mode to protect the eyes from blue-light emissions.
Featuring a voice-activated 13MP rear camera with a F1.8 aperture, the Liquid Jade Z creates beautiful pictures in almost any environment, even with little light. The Liquid Z410 is powered by Android 4.4 4G LTE and 64-bit 1.3Ghz quad-core processing. It delivers vibrant visuals and solid graphics performance in an affordable 5.1-ounce design boasting a 4.5-inch FWVGA (854x480) display.
An AcerRAPID key allows customers to program frequently used actions to be activated with just one touch, while Acer QuickTouch enables the phone to be controlled with a simple one-finger gesture. For example, swiping with a Z shape on the locked display launches the music player, swiping left or right commands previous and next songs, while a C shape opens the camera and a V shape enables dialer functions.
A 2MP 80 degree wide-angle front camera captures high-quality selfies and the rear camera features a 5MP autofocus snapper, LED flash and several pre-installed modes simplifying image capture. For example, presentation mode optimizes note-taking by converting pictures of a sheet of paper or a screen into .jpg, .pdf or .ppt files, while Dual Shot lets customers make collages of simultaneous shots or videos from the front or rear cameras for Picture-in-Picture and Video-in-Video. The camera is also voice commanded, so customers can focus on their subjects rather than logistics.

The innovative Acer Liquid Leap+ wearable fitness tracker provides features aimed at keeping track of many aspects of health in a small 1-inch package.
