NEW YORK, Jan. 30, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- ACES Inc. Baseball agents Seth Levinson and Sam Levinson have negotiated a three-year, $30 million deal for relief pitcher Jeurys Familia with the New York Mets.
Familia, signed out of the Dominican Republic in 2007 by the Mets, spent his entire professional career in the organization before he was dealt to the A's last July. The right-hander posted a 3.13 ERA with 18 saves and a career-high 10.4 K/9 over 72 innings last season.
"We are happy to bring Jeurys Familia back to his home with the New York Mets," said ACES agent Sam Levinson.
The Familia deal is the latest major deal for ACES baseball agent Seth Levinson and ACES baseball agent Sam Levinson. "Many in the industry marvel at the ACES Agency because they read the market and get a lot of their clients (like Joe Kelly and Nathan Eovaldi) signed early. Some who are waiting today were promised they would be paid at a certain level that, as the market develops, doesn't materialize."
