ACTCM Announces April Event Schedule
San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) March 31, 2015 -- The American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (ACTCM) announces their upcoming events. The schedule for April will include interesting workshops, lectures and more. The schedule is as follows:
New Student Orientation
9-11 a.m. April 6
ACTCM welcomes the newest cohort. The orientation will be held in Room D at the Pioneer Square Campus located at 555 DeHaro St.
Town Hall: Tuition & Financial Aid
12:30-1:30 p.m. April 14
Students will be updated on the upcoming merger with CIIS. Staff will address changes to the tuition structure and financial aid procedures. The town hall will be held in Room A. Lunch will also be served.
30 Acupuncture Points to Know for Boards
12:30-1:30 p.m. April 16
TCM Review shares their 30 most important points to know for clinic and board exams with students. The event will be held in Room A. Those interested should RSVP if planning to attend for a free lunch.
Intro to Classical Five Element Acupuncture
12:30-1:30 p.m. April 21
Khosrow Khalighi presents an introduction to classical five element acupuncture followed by a question-and-answer session. The event will be held in Room A.
Essential Grounding Techniques for Healthcare Professionals
3-5 p.m. April 24
This workshop will guide participants in an exploration on how to access and experience a grounded state of being. The event will be held in Room C.
The Path of Service
12:30-1:30 p.m. April 27
This talk will focus on understanding the motivation to be of service in the world. Participants will reflect on their intentions in choosing a career where they are helping others. Led by Isa Gucciardi, Ph.D., the event will be held in Room C.
Posture & Neurology
12:30-1:30 p.m. April 28
Dr. Scott Levin presents current research on posture, neurology and their effects on overall health. The lecture will be part anatomy, part research and will be held in Room A.

About the college:
Founded in 1980, ACTCM is one of the oldest Traditional Chinese Medicine colleges in the country and was the first in the nation to be approved to offer the Master's of Science degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine. ACTCM has been honored for its curriculum, faculty and acupuncture clinic, and voted "Best of the Bay" by both the San Francisco Weekly and the San Francisco Bay Guardian.
