NEW YORK, June 30, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Adam Weinberger Rare Books (aka the "Rare Book Buyer ") http://www.rarebookbuyer.com, offers free online evaluations for your rare books, antique books, and manuscripts by text or email. Additionally, we are pleased to announce a new gallery in NYC at 1050 Second Ave Gallery #93 where we are happy to evaluate your books for free in person by appointment only (please call or text ahead).
The proliferation of antique shows on television has encouraged people to dig through their garages and open those dusty and long forgotten boxes of books lying in their attics- only to discover hidden treasures. A proper evaluation of a rare book or library requires the expertise of a reputable dealer. Adam Weinberger Rare Books is pleased to provide such verbal estimates at no cost. We are proud members of the ABAA, the Antiquarian Booksellers' Association of America.
Submissions of rare books may be made through the website or directly to webuyrarebooks(at)gmail(dot)com or by text at 646-469-1851. Any relevant descriptions and/or photos certainly will be helpful in making an immediate evaluation. We are happy to supply realized auction records to support evaluations as well as the names and contact info of appropriate auction houses for additional independent appraisals. If you would like Adam Weinberger to evaluate books in person at the gallery, please make an advance appointment by email or phone.
Adam Weinberger Rare Books purchases rare books for a large number of private clients and institutions, especially pre-1800 material, fine bindings and sets, important illustrated works, limited editions, fine press books, signed books, illuminated and text manuscripts. Even if your books fall outside the above specialities, we can still evaluate them and make referrals to other appropriate dealers.
Please note that any evaluations should not be considered or used as appraisals for legal purposes.
