Adant Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of complete smart antenna solutions for high performance wireless networking, today announced it has been selected by Zyxel Networks, a leader in delivering secure, AI- and cloud-powered business and home networking solutions, to power its WAX650S 802.11ax (WiFi 6) Dual-Radio Unified Pro Access Point that has been launched worldwide in early 2020.

The flagship Zyxel WAX650S 802.11ax (WiFi 6) Dual-Radio Unified Pro Access Point is a dual-radio, dual 4x4 MIMO access point that provides a maximum data rate of 3550 Mbps (2400 Mbps in 5 GHz and 1150 Mbps in 2.4 GHz) and that is conceived for best in class performance.

Adant’s smart antenna technology is a key component of Zyxel’s WAX650S to provide strong co-channel interference mitigation while boosting WiFi 6 performance. It combines electrically reconfigurable antenna hardware with advanced, ultra-fast selection software capable of selecting the optimal antenna radiation configuration for maximum network throughput in milliseconds time.
